
Dr Michael Pallin is a Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, he attained his specialist training through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, which incorporated two years at Alfred Health and Austin Health following his relocation to Melbourne. He subsequently completed a clinical research fellowship in cystic fibrosis at The Alfred Hospital and now holds a public appointment at Monash Medical Centre, where he also leads quality and safety initiatives within the Monash Lung Sleep Allergy and Immunology department. His clinical practice spans a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders, with key interests in bronchiectasis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease, and sleep-disordered breathing, supported by his continued involvement in clinical research. He also serves as an Associate Editor of Respirology, a leading international respiratory medicine journal.
