
Dr John Hunt is a well-respected Respiratory & Sleep Disorders Physician with more than 30 years’ experience in treating a wide range of respiratory and sleep conditions. Dr Hunt obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1979 from Monash University. He then went on to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, completing his training in 1988. He has also worked overseas, including the completion of further postgraduate studies at the Brompton Hospital, London. He has also worked in a number of developing countries including Malaysia, Vanuatu and Fiji.
As well as having clinical research interests in COPD and asthma, Dr Hunt has been actively involved in teaching, including taking part in educational meetings and symposia with Primary Care Physicians. He is a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand and his special interests include sleep disorders, asthma, COPD and lung cancer.
