
Dr Ian Wang is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician with expertise in diagnosis and management of a broad range of respiratory and sleep disorders, including cough and breathlessness, asthma and airways disease, lung nodules and lung cancer, as well as respiratory failure and sleep apnoea. He obtained his medical degree with honours at Monash University, before completing Basic Physician Training at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. He received his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) after completing Advanced Training in Respiratory and Sleep Subspecialty Medicine at Eastern Health, Western Health and St Vincent's Hospital. He currently holds public hospital appointments at Eastern Health and Western Health, in addition to a teaching appointment at the University of Melbourne Medical School. His professional affiliations include the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), the Australasian Sleep Association (ASA) and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
